Position: Universal Banker

General Definition of Position (purpose)

Reliance Bank Universal Banker will provide superior service to all retail customers.  To include opening of depository accounts, cross-sale of additional retail products, customer service-related questions for consumer retail accounts (in person, telephone and electronic), safe deposit box services and possible outside sales calls and customer visits.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities

• Opening of accounts, including checking, savings, IRA’s and Certificates of Deposit, Credit Cards, and other consumer products
• Support of all consumers electronic banking services
• Sale / opening of Bank’s Internet products, debit cards, e-statements
• All safe deposit box services from opening to servicing
• Cross-sale of all bank products to new and existing customers

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Interpersonal skills to work with all customers / coworkers
• Technology aptitude
• Money handling / balancing

Desired Experience

• 2+ years banking / retail or customer service experience
• ITI (Fiserv) Software experience a plus
