Position: Vice President Commercial Lending

General Definition of Position (purpose):  Commercial Loan and Deposit Development.  Participate in the Credit decisions of the Bank.

Title of Supervisor: Chief Credit Officer

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Business Development
  • Develop and maintain a loan portfolio
  • Underwrite new Commercial Loans
  • Develop & maintain deposit relationships
  • Responsible for annual reviews on loan relationships
  • Actively Represent Reliance Bank at Community Events
  • Cross-sell Bank Products
  • Participant in Bank Credit Committee
  • Participant in Bank Sales Meetings

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Market Knowledge
  • Financial Analysis Knowledge

Needed Education & Experience

  • 7 to 10 years Commercial Lending Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

 

Position: Universal Banker I - Hispanic Banking Products

General Definition of Position (purpose):   This position will provide superior service to all retail customers to include opening of depository accounts and renewals, cross-sale of additional retail accounts, outside sales calls and customer visits, customer service related questions for retail accounts (in person, telephone and electronic), teller services, safety deposit box services and retail loan applications.  This individual will work closely with the Bank’s Hispanic customers that speak primarily Spanish language and would be more comfortable communicating with their banker in Spanish. 

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • Opening of accounts, including Checking, Savings, IRA's, Certificates of Deposits, CD secured Loans, Cash Secured Credit Cards, Auto Loans and other Consumer Loan Products.
  • Support of all electronic banking services
  • Sale / opening of Bank’s Internet products, debit cards, e-statements
  • Performing teller services and teller related transactions
  • All safe deposit box services from opening to servicing
  • Cross-sale of all bank products to new and existing customers
  • Outside sales calls and customer visits

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Interpersonal skills to work with all customers/coworkers
  • Technology aptitude
  • Money handling/balancing
  • Fluent Spanish Language Speaker

Needed Experience

  • 2+ years banking/retail or customer service experience
  • Fiserv ITI experience a plus

 

Position: Loan Servicing Specialist

General Definition of Position (purpose):   This position will primarily responsible for supporting the Mortgage & Consumer lending department including working with the department manager to perform loan servicing activities and ensure loan file organization. 

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

  • Fund & Disperse Loans
  • Insurance processing
  • RE tax verification
  • Process participation payments
  • Process payoff requests and payoff transactions
  • Loan maintenance
  • Create and scan loan files
  • Book loans & participations
  • Track for post-closing needs (insurance, filed mortgages, lien cards, final title policies)
  • Tickler processing and monitoring
  • Process loan payments
  • Daily & Monthly reporting to reconcile with investors
  • FHLB P & I and T & I daily and monthly reconciling
  • Process paid loans
  • Process escrow payments, disbursements, and annual analysis
  • Sort & Process incoming loan related mail
  • Prepare mortgage and consumer files for quality control, internal and external audits

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of bank loan terms and procedures
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize as needed
  • Proficient with computers and related software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Very detail oriented
  • Cross-sell other bank services to loan customers
  • Refer customers to loan officers
